About the Role
As a consumer member of our research team you will:
- Collaborate on the development of a major grant application
- Represent the needs and perspectives of regional communities
- Help shape the design and implementation of a clinical trial network expansion
- Contribute to building research capacity in non-metropolitan settings
What will I be asked to do?
- Attend meetings (virtual and/or in-person) with the research team
- Review and provide feedback on grant application documents
- Contribute ideas to ensure the project reflects regional priorities and realities
- Engage with your local networks to support the project’s goals
Time Commitment
- Approximately 2–4 hours per month during the grant development phase (over 2–3 months)
- Flexible scheduling with support provided
- Participation in virtual meetings (with occasional in-person opportunities, if feasible)
Who Should Apply?
We welcome EOIs from:
- Individuals with lived experience of clinical trials and/or rural health
- People passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes in their communities
Prior experience with grant applications or clinical trials is helpful but not essential — support and mentorship will be provided.
